Description
VCI Shrink film is flexible and keeps multi-metal parts clean, dry, and rust-free during storage and transportation due to the VCI infused into the film. The UVI stabilization feature provides extended life to the film, making it ideal for use in outdoor storage and export environments. It is available in various thicknesses and sizes depending on your spec requirements. We can install zippers, access holes and Velcro to give ease of access and to allow for transportation of the asset whilst keeping the shrink film intact. If humidity is of concern or if more VCI is required, it is possible to install it inside the plastics. We can provide our desiccant solutions from Superdry which is non-leaking and easy to apply. If extra VCI protection is required, we advise using VCI emitters inside of the VCI film.
Replaces less functional non-VCI shrink film, tarps, and covers. Use it when the part is not suited for crating. It can be installed on-site by using our heat guns to shrink it to conform to the shape of the metal.
We use Electrical or Propane Heat Guns to shrink the film. If you require UV Shrink film where no VCI is required, we also have it available.
